Matchy Matchy

My outfit Wednesday was inspired by this photo where a blogger was creating many outfits using 5 or 6 pieces...

Liked the simple combination, definitely too matchy matchy but sometimes it is a change of pace for me….

Top - Anthropologie
Pants - Zara
Sandals - C Wonder
Purse - Steve Madden
Ring - Swatch

WEDNESDAY:
Worked on a few drawers in my room as far as my house cleansing project goes, it was half day for the kids so picked them up and they played leisurely for a while on their own at home.
After homework took my son to swim practice followed by a 2.5 hour soccer practice. Good thing is our carpool plan has started so I just had to drop him off and come back home with my daughter. She enjoyed a long solo bath then we browsed the 'American Girl' doll catalog together and had some quality time.

Down the rabbit hole

Monday's outfit was inspired by this photo:

I forgot to add the mustard purse which I owned… Oh well…
I took the idea of wearing a patterned shorts and tops that had the same color hues in them… Topped with a denim vest….
Tried the remote feature of my camera but you literally have to point to get the shot which kind of limits my poses. Does anyone have recommendation of better remotes with better signal capacity?
Also, it seems like it didn't focus when I was doing the remote which was the whole purpose of using the remote. Not sure….

Vest, shorts - Forever 21
Top - Blog win a while back
Platforms - Luxury Rebel
Bracelets - Cookie Lee

MONDAY:
The week has started and I poured myself once again over the organizing efforts.
I worked on rest of my closet which once again thought it would faster but of course it didn't. You wouldn't believe how many bags I am generating to donate and to give away to friends.  The downstairs entry is filling up with rows and rows of bags.
After my closet I thought I would quickly attack this tiny closet under our stairs. Boy was I wrong about the time it took. It was first of all very dirty. So there was a lot of cleaning and wiping involved once I got everything out.
I feel sore and exhausted after these cleanses and also sneeze like crazy due all the dust I inhale but feel amazing to have each area clean and organized.
The problem is you don't really see the progress if you didn't quite see what it looked like. I am going to try to remember to take photos of at least one closet so I can show….
In the afternoon we did homework with the kids then started my son back to his swim team practices…

Seeing Stripes

 My outfit Friday…
During the day I wore this with superga sneakers and no pearls. At night added the nude sandals and the pearls. Was ready in a snap! :)

Here is my inspiration (didn't note where I saved the photo from):

Jacket, top - Forever 21
Jeans - Madewell
Sandals - Nine West
Pearls - Cookie Lee
Watch - Michael Kors

FRIDAY:
Worked hard to clean and organize the desk in our office and our bills, then ran four errands and met my friend for lunch. Tried to sell some of my stuff at a 2nd hand store but they only buy stuff that is currently in style which of course I am not selling.  It was a waste of my time so I decided with the rest of jewelry I had set aside to take it all to my book club meeting and give it to any of my friends who wanted them. Much better satisfaction.
Before the book club our coach added an extra practice for my son who was only ecstatic so barely made it in time out of there to the book club. Good thing is I was able to leave him at the practice which lasted 2.5 hours so one of the other mom's dropped him off.

I didn't do any photos this weekend unfortunately. We had a SATURDAY full of soccer. My daughter's team was cute but pretty passive. My son's team on the other hand were rock stars. It is also a whole other game at his age level. They use the whole field and the kids are sooo into it. My son was literally shaking out of excitement as he was drinking his water between breaks. They were cheering and dancing with each goal but when our team started cremating them the coach banned them from discussing the score to prevent them from making the other team feel bad. We have an amazing coach who is so passionate. It is going to be a fun season.
