In Trying Times, Don't Quit Trying

Wednesday's outfit was inspired from a folder I have titled 'Boho Looks'... They are such a contrast from my 'pinterest' and 'jcrew' looks. I love throwing people in a loop when I completely switch gears and styles like that...

Here was the inspiration from Forever 21's 'Lookbook' site:

I could have added the leather jacket but it was never cold enough and the outfit was was till col without it...

Photos taken at my parents house. They have been so hard over the last 5 months remodeling and it looks amazing even though we weren't even trying to capture the house. I just real quick had my step dad snap the photos as I dropped off my daughter and changed my son and rushed him to a baseball game from there...

WEDNESDAY:
It was my crazy crazy day. My daughter had cavity filling appointment. My son had a baseball game and science team solar car competition that overlapped. Because he is such an amazing player the coaches begged me to bring him to the game just for a few innings before rushing him to the competition. I bought dinner and fed him in the car.
He had an amazing game but the solar car competition did not go well as their car wouldn't take off!
He had a moment of breakdown and started crying which reminds me despite his ever growing height he is still little. He shook it off though and wanted to stay and cheer for his friends' teams instead even though his team was out.
Looooong day of running around and driving around town like crazy...
Thanks to my parents who took my daughter to her appointment and fed her and got her to bed while we did all this stuff with my son.
Takes a village!

Hippity Hoppity

Sunday's outfit was inspired by this pinterest post:

I had worn this one other time but never took a photo and it is such a simple but fun outfit so I wore it again. This time though I added animal print sneakers instead of the animal print purse to make it practical...

Without the Sweater I had a bit of rose gold metallic to add interest....

Sweater, Jeans - Zara
Sneakers - Steve Madden
Metallic Top - H&M
Clutch - Gift from my Friend...
Sunglasses - Ray Ban

SUNDAY:
Had a nice fun day with the kids and my parents while my hubby was enjoying 2 days of tennis in Palm Springs....
Went to the local Farmer's Market where they had an easter egg hunt and DJ for some spring dancing which my daughter loves....

Then went to the American Girl Fashion show event to raise money for the UCSD hospital's NICU where actually my daughter was born in and spent 21 days. So it was quite emotional to hear the story of little girl who was born premature and never made it but her parents turn that tragedy into this wonderful charity organization. I just kept reaching over and hugging my beautiful girl...

In a League of Your Own

Saturday night's outfit was inspired by the every so famous Bee from Atlantic Pacific:

I had a purple furry coat but it was too cropped so went with the blush shaggy coat for a similar effect….

The outfit looked cool even without the jacket or the hat. The differences in texture and shapes add interest even though the whole look is black...

Can you see my little guy playing basketball while still in his baseball uniform in the background?
The kid never sits down...

Hat, Jacket, Pants - Forever 21
Sweater - Blush from Nordstrom's
Shoes - Zara
Accessories - Cookie Lee, Fossil, Bauble Bar, Francesca's…
Sunglasses - House of Harlow

SATURDAY:
Busy day with Ice Skating and Baseball game and team snacks….
My son is a true rock star in Baseball. He makes hits and catches that get so much applause. One catch the opponent team's coach actually stopped and went to shake his hand it was that amazing.
I am such a proud momma sitting in the stands watching him.
We hung out at home afterwards with my parents. Then they took the kids but I had already made plans with girl friends so my hubby went out with a friend as well.
A great night over margaritas and chips and salsa…
